Fashion Designer and writer, Francesca Muia, discovered her love for fashion and creativity at a very young age. Always interested in the arts and media, it was her passion for fashion that moved her from Vancouver to Montreal to study at LaSalle College and pursue a career in Fashion Design. Francesca has been designing womenswear for over ten years and has recently launched her own clothing line for girls, Rosa Agnese Couture, named after her daughter, who reminds her everyday to dress like a princess and wear a crown. Francesca believes clothing should empower women and reflect who we are, while also reflecting which superwoman we would like to channel that day.
Writing for this first issue of Eleganza is a great honour and accomplishment for Francesca, as creating content has always been a dream of hers. For Francesca, elegance is an attitude and comes from within. It is about how one carries themselves- the way they walk and the way they speak. It is knowing ourselves, being true, and owning it all gracefully.
